A few clear answers
Before you begin.
What Shamash is, where the atlas comes from, and what is still being built.
Is Shamash available on the App Store?
Not yet. The iOS app is still in progress. The site keeps the eventual App Store treatment visible without pretending there is a live listing.
Can I use Shamash without creating an account?
The product is being designed guest-first. A person should be able to begin a small practice before deciding whether an account is useful.
Where does the local directory information come from?
The pilot uses normalized records from first-party organization websites. Firecrawl will support later ingestion, but scraped material will be reviewed before it enters the site.
Does Shamash copy Google Maps reviews or rankings?
No. The atlas is not a mirror of Google Maps and will not republish its review layer or rankings.
How can an organization update its page?
Use the corrections and claims page. The organization’s own website remains the authority for current schedules, programs, and policies.
Why are some directory pages not indexed?
The Los Angeles directory is a draft pilot. Pages remain noindex until source, rights, verification, and correction workflows are ready.
