I've been taking my kids to this location for years now that I adopted kids, I've been taking them there. What is it with the customer service these days? They don't care who they hire so one person ruined it for me there. I called up to make an appointment. They were rude disrespectful. I won't deal with that kind of stuff.\n I don't know what it is that there Choosing any kind of people for customer service there answering the phones, but now I'm gonna be bad. Customer services, they suck. I refuse to take my kids back there for this purpose. I'm not going to be treated disrespectfully or insulted, I just want to leave my personal review of Jewish family services.Good luck

My young 6 year old child had been a patient for over a year. I've had NUMEROUS billing issues including it took several calls for months awaiting the bills. Now after paying large sums they are sending backdated bills from over the year. They've also lacked updated the account when I paid a large sum of cash so they wanted to refuse scheduling an appt. NOW.. my son is on a new medication and I called the med line 9 days ago because he was in crisis overnight. He had since calmed but I needed some direction. I was assured id get a call back. That was 9 days ago. At the end of week 1 I called to ask for a supervisor.. because how is this acceptable when you are responsible for mental Healthcare and children and there's no communication? I've now been waiting 5 days for a supervisor to call. I will say I do like the front office staff, they are always very sweet. Also, my son's new NP seems as if she wants to help during the appts. I just wish dealing with this place as a whole wasn't such a struggle itself.

I’ve had a very positive experience with Jewish Family Services. Their mental health clinic provides compassionate, professional, and respectful care from start to finish. The staff is welcoming and genuinely invested in helping individuals and families feel supported during difficult times. The therapists are highly knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful in their approach, creating a safe and nonjudgmental environment. Appointments are well-organized, communication is clear, and it’s obvious that the organization truly prioritizes the well-being of the people they serve. Jewish Family Services plays an essential role in the community by offering accessible, high-quality mental health care with empathy and integrity. I would highly recommend their services to anyone seeking support, guidance, or counseling.

Where do I start? How much time do you have? You're better off using Mercy Care with the Charlie App or AFFECT. Much better than being abandoned or abused imo.

If I could give NEGATIVE STARS, I would! Google forces you to put 1 star. This establishment needs to be shut down! No one seems to be able to do their job correctly and provide accurate information. Specifically physician, Nancy Syms. Whether it is insurance, calling back to book an appointment, OR getting correct referrals sent over all tasks are never completed accurately. This is a low funded office I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND being a patient to this facility. GO SOMEWEHERE ELSE!!!!!!!! I unfortunately have witnessed these poor practices for four years and no progression has been made, only a turnover of therapists and lack of rapport built with the patient.

it was my first time seeing a PCP doctor there and I was very nervous since doctor appointments make me anxious, but the staff was very nice and it felt like they genuinely cared about my well-being, so thank you JFCS staff and Dr. De!

very unprofessional, I had 2 appointments I missed and was not notified about a policy if you miss many appointments you can't be seen until my third time, I was on the bus in a crash and made it about 20 minutes late but they said their policy is I cannot make an appointment anymore. Very unprofessional, these policies and rules need to be told and advised to the customer on the first call. I'm on the phone with the lady and she starts talking over me when I'm trying to explain the crash. I will not be trying to come here again, horrible location.

Would not recommend using this place. They love canceling appointments the day right before to actual appointment claiming they're sorry for the inconvenience. No sorry not sorry but that's a load of bull. Not happy with their lack of service and compassion for others' time.

Started out great but now basically denying me and my family emergency assistance and basically won't help us until we are literally out on the street. They insulted my fiance and claim he's controlling me and supposedly holding me back. We have a 20 month old daughter together but they would rather see a family split up instead of trying to help us. The clinical director keeps promising he'll call me but doesn't. This is ridiculous! And they wonder why people react the way they do when they know my diagnosis but are basically purposely triggering me. Healthcare in general is going down the drain but this is heartbreaking. I am considered SMI, yet have proven that I am fully capable of doing things including getting a job which I now basically have to turn down since they refuse to help me talk to social security. I would be ultimately hurting my family financially if I take the job I wanted because no one bothered to inform me I don't even qualify for the ticket to work program and that no matter what I do if I work it will affect my social security. This is why I want to work in behavioral health because these so called professionals don't seem to truly care about us and they lack personal experience of living with a psychological disorder on a daily basis. They care more about money and milking your insurance. They want to insist you do things their way. They tell you one minute how intelligent you are but then insult you if you prove anything they do wrong. This is sad and heartbreaking as JFCS is supposedly one of the best in our state and are supposedly family focused, yet they would rather separate a family and put them on the street and claim they can't help when their website even states they are supposed to be able to provide emergency assistance including emergency financial assistance but they won't.

This is the worst place to receive care My child was referred here by his pediatrician upon receiving the services. I asked if they can fill out FMLA paperwork so that I can ensure that my child receive services and that I can maintain employment during the process they told me that they don’t fill out paperwork unless you have been there for over six months in which I can put a parent in a rough spot and can create challenges in that family’s life I really hate there’s places like this benefitting from our health insurance but not hearing our needs If you can’t hear the needs I have as a parent then how can I trust you will here my child’s needs This place should be closed

Absolutely the worst. Makes CBI look caring. No empathy or help. Amanda the psych Dr refuses to write a pet letter for my 2nd pet because ITS HER BOUNDARY. Why? What does it matter to her. It's costing me extra money and I'm broke. It will hurt me to get rid of my pet. They are so cold and non caring. Im not someone who needs to be put in my place. I'm pretty easy to get along with. But I can't get along with anyone there. Feel horrible discrimination here. Amanda and Monique are not good at their jobs. They give me lists of "resources" but don't help me accomplish anything. Being SMI I need some extra help. They just say You need to be your own case manager. Huh???? Couldn't even get help making a resume. DO NOT EVER COME HERE!

I took my son for an evaluation on the 26th and was not given his paperwork. I called the next day and the following week and was told it still wasn't ready and now I'm getting told that I need to sign a release of information because I took too long to call back. I was told the manager would call me but never received a call so I called and still didn't speak with the manager but was told I still had to go and sign paperwork. It's absolutely ridiculous. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the people that did the consultation and eval were great.
