When I asked them to give my welcome money they just threatened me and told me if you're asking for the money we gonna delay your family case Don't trust them just call homeland security everyone

This organization seems to be good but some case workers and employees are extremely unprofessional and ignorant. refuse to help families in dire need. One case worker in particular Mina is extremely rude and unprofessional. she yelled at my family member on the phone and very rudely threatened that she will drop our resettlement case, which unfortunately she did. my family extremely frustrated took huge sums of debt to resettle and still living in a 2 bedroom apartment with another relative, until i find our own place my family has to suffer because she couldn’t help us with our resettlement properly. I go to county myself, apply for all paperwork myself without any clue what needs to be done….

3 years ago Hi Cad, We're sorry to hear about your bad experience, and we hope we can address some of the confusion here. None of our case workers will drop a resettlement case. However, we do have a huge demand for our services and can sometimes have a very long waiting list. We recommend calling our main line at (925) 927-2000 to get a more personalized response. Hopefully, we can clear up the confusion and make things right for you. That is the ultimate goal of everyone at JFCS East Bay.
