The Community Mikvah at AJU.

It was a wonderful experience.

I chose to mark my 70th birthday by experiencing the Mikvah, it was my first immersion although I had gone with each of my daughters before their weddings. It was a very moving experience for me, the guide, Annarose, was very knowledgeable and I loved the suggestions that she made such as thinking about an intention as I walked down the 7 steps into the water. She even wrote a special blessing for my milestone birthday. I loved that my children, husband and daughter in law were with me, although behind the curtain. We brought a guitar and sang together, and Annarose made time for them to bless me as well. I will absolutely mark another milestone at the Mikvah and will encourage all of my friends to take the plunge too.

We honored our marriage for our first anniversary here. It was a deeply moving and spiritual experience. It was an opportunity for us to reflect on our vows and on our relationship with each other, Higher Power and and ourselves.

We had a beautiful experience at the Mikvah. It’s a lovely, peaceful, renewing place.
