My kids have been going to this Camp for years. It’s the most incredible experience for kids. They have been asking me to go back every year. It’s extremely well organized. I would recommend Tawonga with 2 thumbs up!

Such a special place with incredible staff. My daughter has gone for 8+ years and it’s literally her favorite place in the entire world.
Tawonga is a dream. My 2 daughters have been attending summer camp there for years (my oldest was even a counselor in training for a month there last year) and I have attended 7 adult weekend retreats at Tawonga as well as family camp with my kids. My kids have thrived in the beautiful setting, living screen-free for weeks and experiencing the inclusive, loving, and fun community of Tawonga. They have made lasting friendships (as have I at the adult camps!) and have grown into kind, playful, adventurous, grounded leaders through their time at Tawonga.
Camp Tawonga is an amazing summer camp. My children (two boys, 4th and 2nd grade) had an amazing experience connecting with Jewish community and making sweet friendships. Their counselors took such loving care of them, even my seven year old thrived under the care of these professional counselors. The location right outside Yosemite is so special. My oldest got to camp alongside an alpine lake in Yosemite. Such a special experience!
For my daughter’s first Sleepaway camp, Camp Tawonga was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for her. She was nervous going but when I picked her up at the bus at the end of the week she wanted to go back immediately! She loved the camp, activities, made nee amazing friends and had amazing counselors. She still talks about it and can’t wait to go back next summer!
Tawonga has become an integral part of our family and summer. Our kids absolutely love their time there. The independence and confidence they gain while there is unmatched. We love that our kids get to discover who they are in a safe, caring, positive, and uplifting community.
Beautiful
Tawonga is a camp filled with joy, nature, and community. Truly a special place for youth and families!
There are no words to describe the positive impact this camp has had on me and my family. I can't wait to share that experience with my children in the near future. Tawonga is more than a camp; it's a home away from home.
Such a special place! Inclusive, welcoming, joyful. Highly recommend the family camp weekends and I hear amazing things and summer camp as well.

My kids had an amazing time at Camp Tawonga and will be back next summer - it's a fantastic, child-centered camp and the team running it is superb.
I went to Tawonga 76,77,78,79. The plaque my dorm made after one of the four day camping hikes we went on is still hanging in the dining hall. Zoe the arts and craft counselor was the bomb. Friday night dances and the hook up tree in front of the pool where I first felt a girls boobs was awesome. I noticed my quads would get big from hiking and I would wear shorts and sandals in foggy San Fran for the first month back to school

He also seem to mature and gain a lot of social confidence due to the experience - they really seem to run an amazing camp over at Tawonga!
My daughter went to sleepaway camp for the first time, and I'm so glad it was at Tawonga. She has some social anxiety, but you would have never known the way she came back after camp. Tawonga was truly transformative. I still can't believe it exists and I'm so glad she was able to get a spot!!
Fun camp, hikes can be a lot sometimes
