I walked by this amazing structure a week ago and learned of their Wednesday 2 pm tour. Bonnie, the guide, is absolutely phenomenal. She shares the history and key elements of Sherith Israel and history of SF Jews. The tour is an hour yet you will not want it to end. Top of the list when in the area!!

It's a very grand and magnificent building. I don't know why it was closed on Mondays. I really wanted to go inside and see it.

We loved Sherith and were sad to leave our beloved congregation when we moved. It’s a truly inclusive, loving environment; very family friendly.

Sherith Israel is a beautiful place with even more beautiful people. Rabbi Jessica is truly a caring and thoughtful leader, and our family is better for experiencing what this temple has to offer.
