Great sandwiches and some of the best hummus in San Francisco!
Ray, the former owner was such a great part of the neighborhood. He new everybody, made all feel welcome, and connected people. I enjoyed seeing him daily. The new crew seem very nice and are keeping it together. Still a great shop and deli.. Can get busy. Order sandwiches ahead online or by phone.
Amazing sandwich
This was the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had. I got The Sunset sandwich and every bite was so flavorful I had no choice but to finish the whole thing. I’m not from this city but I would move here so I could eat this weekly. I also love that they have a gluten free option to turn any sandwich into a salad for people who might need that.
This store offers healthy sandwiches made to order, a far cry from so many fast food services nearby. Place an order 10 minutes ahead and Ray will prepare it for you with quality garnish. Recently changed its name to ‘Ray’s’ to show the name of the proud owner.

DELICIOUS chicken pesto sandwich and typical bodega grocery offerings

Some of the best sandwiches (and AMAZING chicken shawarma) in the neighborhood, and at a really good price. Ray remembered my name after my first time going there.

Friendly service, delicious breakfast burritos
His shop rescued a messed up old corner store into a cute upscale-ish deli and specialties store. The best hummus in SF and his falafel wraps are life changing. Also Ray is a ray of sunshine. Best. Bodega. Ever.
