Congregation Rodef Sholom in San Rafael is such a gem. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and sense of community—it’s like being welcomed home. The people here are genuinely kind, open, and supportive, and they’ve created this amazing space where everyone feels included, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. The clergy are incredible—not just knowledgeable, but also really approachable and caring. They have this way of making services meaningful, blending tradition with modern relevance, so it resonates with everyone. Whether it’s a Shabbat service, a holiday celebration, or even just a casual gathering, there’s always this uplifting energy. I also love how much emphasis they place on education and social action. Their programs for kids and adults are thoughtfully put together and really engaging. Plus, the community’s commitment to tikkun olam (repairing the world) is inspiring—they’re always finding ways to make a difference locally and beyond. It’s not just a place of worship; it’s a place where you can truly connect—with your faith, with others, and with yourself. If you’re looking for a welcoming, dynamic Jewish community, you’ve got to check out Rodef Sholom.

I could go on and on with praise for the people of rodef shalom. The first Wednesday night of the rest program for me I will never ever forget in all of my life. The children running around having fun the homeless people getting a good meal I met people who I will know for the rest of my life and be friends with. Moshi you and your family artemy family I watched your twins grow up your daughter to grow up to be a beautiful lady the way you treated us was I would think just how you treated your family cuz you've brought tears in my eyes every time I came there I'd really really really felt at home. Wednesday night's Forever on will make me think about Rhoda shalom in the good you did for the people of San Rafael..... Moshi Sophia Jake and Ben, you will forever be in my heart. And there were so many other people that helped I don't know all of your names but I know your faces and I know you your heart and I know you care thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Paul or maybe it's Jake or maybe it's been it might have to be Sophia but it could be Moshi also......😀😀😀😀😀
