First off, this lovely, thriving, and very well-located place of worship and commaraderie is kept pretty much exclusively for undergraduates. It's too bad older people are not encouraged to participate, but this is to ensure the safety of the younger folks and to help them mingle with their own age group (even though some undergraduates might be seasoned adults). ... The litergy, was interesting as it wasn't strictly ordered, but this allowed us to meet in pairs in the middle of service to discuss how we can make this world a better place. My temporary partner said she makes an effort every day to cause her bus driver to feel noticed and appreciated. Others spoke of courteousness (not flattery) and acts of kindness to make others feel validated. In other words, it is the small notions of kindness that effect great changes in the world.... I think CU Boulder Hillel a tiny gold mine and I wish it was more open to the greater public. Nonetheless I feel lucky to have been invited to participate, even if was only for a short moment of reprieve from this superficial world.

I think CU Boulder Hillel is a tiny gold mine and I wish it was more open to the greater public. Nonetheless I feel lucky to have been invited to participate, even if it was only for a short moment of reprieve from this superficial world.... For a more detailed description, the single time I visited CU Boulder Hillel I was a bit late. So I'm not sure, but it seemed like the litergy, which did, indeed, follow a preplanned format, wasn't strictly ordered, but this allowed the small congregation to meet in pairs nearing the end (or at the end) of service to discuss how each of us could make this world a better place. My temporary partner said she makes an effort every day to cause her bus driver to feel noticed and appreciated. Others spoke of courteousness (not flattery) and acts of kindness to make strangers feel validated. In other words, it is the small notions of benevolence that affect the greatest of changes in the world.... One should note that this lovely, thriving, and very well-located place of worship and camaraderie is kept pretty much exclusively for undergraduates. It's too bad older people are not encouraged to participate, but I believe this is to ensure the safety of the younger folks and to help them mingle with their own age group (even though some undergraduates might be seasoned adults).

Super friendly staff! I love coming here on Fridays for dinner! I’m literally studying there right now and it’s a very good study space.
