Wonderful ladies here that are kind and helpful. ❤️

The female security guards think they're the only ones with a bad attitude—especially on Tuesdays.

I had been waiting for months—I went about five times, and nothing; the issue was never resolved. Today, I was finally assisted by the best: Ms. Nelson. She works with love and respect. Thank you so much; God bless her.

This place is so unprofessional, for starters after I signed in received my number and waited to be called, when I was called I was told to go to window four, got to the window and before I even said anything or even greeted , this lady just straight up pointed to the other side of the room and told me to “Stand over there because she was going on her break” I said “oh okay I was told to come to window four” and she had the audacity to not even respond she just straight ignored me while proceeding to fidget with things around her desk, I ask her if she had her me just to make sure I wasn’t tripping and she proceeded to say “what I can’t help u “ and just walked off?? Security guard just walking around being loud talking on her phone , being rude to customers sitting inside the waiting area and everything. Finally get to the back to speak with someone over my case, not only did the lady proceed to question me like i didn’t know my own information or something but she too also did want to do her job, sighing the whole time, She got on the phone I guess to try to receive help with my case and didn’t even want to sit and wait for the operator to answer so she hung up and proceeded to tell me I had two tickets on my case , and that it was a long wait she had five people ahead of her and basically that was it. Asked for ticket number, said she couldn’t do that but she should give me a call within 5-10 business days after said tickets have been pushed through. The energy and customer service this place gives off is just so rude and just disrespectful. Hate to say it but maybe you all need some whites faces in there🤷🏽‍♀️.

Staff here is kind and doing their best in spite of difficult and frustrating systems. Things take a while, but that’s the fault of our poor social safety services, not the employees doing their best to navigate them.

I came to the office today and I’m extremely happy with the service. The staff are very nice and hard working. When i first walked in i saw Ms. N. Gomez at the front desk, she then greeted me with a beautiful smile. After a while my number was called and Ms. Tiffany Barhsdale and Ms. Adole Young help me to do all the required paperwork and explained everything that I needed to do. They were extremely helpful and I would recommend this place to anyone. A++++++ 5 stars. Great place.

This office and the staff here are great. Wait time was next to nothing and the staff was so nice and helpful. I was very confused on how to start my process and what to do to move the voucher. They made it very easy for me and also helped me to understand how to manage it. Thank you Ms Tasha Powell for getting the job done and being extremely professional. Also Mr Calhoun and Ms Washington

If you’re planning to come to this DHS office, do yourself a favor: don’t. I’ve been here three times, and each visit was somehow worse than the last. The staff? Rude, dismissive, and act like you’re an inconvenience instead of someone they’re supposed to help. Some of them clearly have no idea what they’re doing—they’ll confidently give you the wrong information, and you’ll end up wasting your whole day coming back to fix their mistakes. What’s even worse is how they treat people differently based on language and race. It’s humiliating, stressful, and completely unfair. Instead of offering help, they act annoyed that you even showed up. It honestly blows my mind how a government office that exists to help people can be so disorganized, careless, and unprofessional. If you have any other option—literally anywhere else—go there. Save your time, your energy, and your sanity. Coming here will only ruin your day.

a very disappointing visit today, there is no doubt that discrimination based on race and language is in some employees of this place, we went now to solve a problem with our case and the lady who helped us at window 5 was too disgusting and rude, when she saw that we were Hispanic she ignored us at once, after she decided to help us and when we asked for an interpreter she showed her face of grade throwing the phone at us and did not turn to look at us for a single moment she continued speaking very disgustingly and did not help at all with our case, the conversation lasted only 3 minutes, even a coworker approached her after work who spoke Spanish to tell her if she needed help. that she could change and she refused the help so as not to help us, please hire employees with more empathy and humanism
