I attended this synagogue for four days (not Shabbat) while vacationing in DC in August 2019. It's an okay shul if you need a minyan. Nobody greeted me, but nobody told me I'd taken somebody else's seat either. On my last day I mentioned it to the gabbai and he called me for aliyah. The shul was always packed. I mean it as a positive thing, that the minyan was strong and reliable, not that there wasn't enough room. The only minor drawback is that there is no bulletin board with service schedule, although that information is on the website. Overall, a nice place to daven.

I love these synagogues! Nothing like em old YISGADDDDDAL VYEEEEEESKADEISH SHIMAY RABAAAWWW. I love it! Someone told me they’d been here before and there was a lady who said kadeish from behind the mechitzah, he said he had asked Rabbi apter (R apter is a massive Talmid chachum with genuine Torah hashkafa and knowledge) if it’s ok, and R apter said it’s 100% fine. So I was kinda hoping it would happen when I was there, thought it would be pretty cool! But sadly I didn’t get to experience that weird moment. The folks here were pretty nice! We had a nice discussion over some coffee and muffins after davening! Parking is impossible without Hashem, I mean everything’s impossible without Hashem, but this is like clearly visible that Hashem pulls the strings here for you to be able to park. You need to do the code in order to get into the building, there’s a note on the side that says the numbers in aleph bais, but I was wondering…. It’s supposed to keep random goyim out? Can’t anybody just upload the pic of the aleph bais to ChatGPT or Gemini and get the code to the building? If anyone’s eager enough to get into the building they can pull it off, don’t gotta know the aleph bais to get in anywhere nowadays. Idk, but what I do know is that I like this place!
