cute and delish! kind of pricey but sandwiches are huge

Organic best place
Great spot for a variety of things, sandwiches, meat, quick food items. As someone who lives in Georgetown, I am happy we have Stachowskis.

Wonderful pastrami
Amazing store and people. Miss having my morning coffee there!
Great pastrami & refreshing pickles. The only downside was that they used a little too much mustard for my taste. The meat was delicious.

My go-to for a cold sandwich in DC. The grinder sandwich is MASSIVE and can absolutely be split between 2 people or multiple meals. Sandwich is packed with a lot of meat and fresh toppings, and the toasted bread is excellent. Soups are also great and the store has a nice selection of products.

Great sandwiches!
Hot Pastrami sandwich is incredible, place a little pricey but worth it, the Kielbasa sandwich was great too, and potato lake was solid.
Go to meat and fish market in the middle of Georgetown. Great store with friendly service. I typically buy the meats but the sandwiches are large and very good.
Stachowski's is a great place for your sandwich, grocer, and dinner needs. They sell alot of artisnal unique items that you will not find in the average grocer. I go there for the pastrami sandwich. Its real good. If your a pastrami lover then, this is the place for you. But also checkout other items they have to offer.

High quality
Not a fan. Extremely expensive sandwiches that are ok. Granted they are huge, but I'd prefer half the size for half the price. Add in the pain of trying to park in Georgetown and it's a no from me. Mangialardo's in Hill East is better quality and price, not to mention metro accessible if you don't want to deal with parking.
Always a favorite.

Best sandwiches
Purchased a chunk of guanciale and was given a block of fat instead. I know the product is expected to have a high fat content of around 65%, but what I got is insane. Basically a line of meat embedded within a block of fat. It’s disgusting how this vendor tried to shove undesirable products to customers who they judge to be “outta-towner”, in the spirit of “not let anything go to waste” for a profit.

Expensive, but great
