Very good family services. Great help for seniors and especially to Hollocost survivors. They even provide help with house cleaning! We are very grateful for the care and compassion provided to our family.

Don't go here unless you like providers that literally abandon you and leave you with no options when they do so.

I received a text from a friend who knew I was in need. I only knew that it was a community service paying for Duke Energy in Clearwater. I registered that night, got an invite, and received assistance by an awesome team. THANK YOU GULF COAST JEWISH SERVICES my family is very grateful. Blessings to you all.

Seriously a huge waste of time. I’m writing a review on behalf of my family member but it’s ridiculous what they do to families. She had a case open for 2 months and it created more of a mess than we already had. They give you a ton of false hope. They even got into an accident, her son was hospitalized for a week, and her car got totaled. This all happened during the time her case was still opened yet she got denied. They need to take the word “families “ in their title because they don’t care about them. Plus, their case worker and supervisor actually blocked her number. They were just dragging her along for the ride and just having some popcorn to enjoy the show of their misery and I am truly disgusted by this place. They enjoy watching people suffer, apparently!

These people are HORRIBLE! They constantly ask for more paperwork and when you ask for updates, they make excuses. Not only was our bank account hacked but three weeks later our car was totaled in an accident that was not our fault. We were led on by Shelby and Srdjan for TWO months! On August 18th Shelby said she was in the process of submitting to lenders which was a LIE! I tried to find out the status and was BLOCKED! Because of their delays I have had my water shut off, power is next and an eviction is looming. My son-in-law is supporting 5 people as I am no longer able to work at 62 and my daughter cares for a toddler & autistic 6 year old. They are a cold, uncaring organization who buried us further in debt and then denied us assistance. I don’t know how they sleep at night! AVOID THIS ORGANIZATION! They deserve less than the 1 star given!

Waste of time. Was out of work do to an injury just got work back June 12th JFCS were going to help me up until they told landlord and the landlord denied it and they can't even give a letter that you tried to help in eviction court. Waste of time

Fantastic organization offering a wide range of services for our community!

Actually, I said Ashley.a year ago

This organization seems to prey on families in their most vulnerable times. They claim to want and assist you through your hardships and then make you jump through every single hurdle and still not help come up with a resolution for your needs. We came to them for assistance in past due rent due to income fallen short from the hurricanes and our caseworker quite literally pushed us into final eviction . She dangled help in our face and took it away just as fast. She was offering to help with things we didn’t even ask for such as children’s bed, sheets, etc and of course those items never came. I’m not sure what the deal is with this program but, I would strongly suggest asking for help or donating to other charitable organizations. Thank god we found another organization for help and they fixed all of our problems in one day. If I could rate this place a 0 , I would.

Promised to help my family and then spent 2 months making us jump through hoops and my landlord to just deny us and we were still without money to help catch up the rent. After being out of work for 3 weeks. Thankfully we found somewhere to help with some and our landlord worked with us

The help we receive from Gulf Coast JFCS is excellent, and their manager, Gail Allen, is very cooperative, listening to and understanding our needs. My wife, Ilsa, and I are very grateful to the entire JFCS team for the help we receive. May God bless you eternally. Amen.

Phone line - "Hotline" only operates several hours a day. After half-dozen calls only got one call back 10 days aftet innitial call & then they only left me a message and suggested i call again and repeat the process again. in 2 weeks of attempts I've still never talked to a live person, but their Voicemail does indicate that their 'earliest convenience.' I'm still waiting on a call back 😳

This place is a joke and needs to be shut down. No integrity whatsoever. No communication. They fabricate narratives. It’s hard to believe they have funding. It’s time to follow the money.

They where very helpful when I moved my mom here from Ohio, they helped me find a place for her to go why I worked and it made the transition much smoother.

They were called to come help me. The sweet woman, Tonya, was kind and wise. She helped me feel a lot better and talked to me about my struggles. I thank her for being there and for her help during this rough time. Her words really made me feel better. I hope the JFCS can get more of her and help as many people as they can. This world needs more love in it. Thank you.

I left multiple messages over 3 months and still no call back. They partner with the St Pete Police and I need records of my interactions with this “non-profit.”
