In the short interaction to buy our tickets, the dude couldn't keep his political trap shut. He was also 30% un-informed on the issue. Pretty well ruined our visit. The Art exhibit was enjoyable. I spend time near Live Oak & never knew about PEDRO JERMAINE. Enjoyed. I think a great exhibit would be showcasing the contributions of Jewish people to science and technology since the turn of the millennium.

A very pleasant visit. Peaceful quiet atmosphere, nice architecture inside-outside, simple and efficient, good taste interior design. There is a permanent exhibition with general info (ideal to learn basics about Jewish history, faith, traditions and customs AND their presence and pretty nice achievements in Miami - f. ex. think about doctors building a hospital whith their own hands at harsh times when they were forbidden to work) and there is also a changing temporary art exhibition. The one I saw at the end of February '26 was a textile artworks exhib. combined with photographs of Patricia San Pedro, displaying solid, nice artworks. I loved the place and the staff too. On some days of the week they offer free guided city walking tours in the nearby area. Howard is a passionate and absolutely well-prepared guide, he knows everything about the architecture of the Miami Beach area and also the inspiring history of many buildings and their former inhabitants. He has a fabulous memory and can capture your attention with the good old way of story-telling. He is happy to share his knowledge and this is contageous - you'll look at the houses differently afterwards. I loved every minute I spent on the tour and in the museum. When I came out I was feeling calmer, wiser, more understanding - and this is what a good museum is supposed to do. If you travel in that area, use the opportunity to learn something and meet kind and intelligent people.

The Jewish Museum of Florida is truly one of the most meaningful and beautifully curated spaces I’ve experienced. Every visit feels intentional where history, culture, and storytelling come together in a way that is both educational and deeply moving. The exhibitions are thoughtfully designed, offering a powerful glimpse into Jewish heritage, resilience, and contributions, while still feeling accessible and engaging to all audiences. The space itself carries a sense of reverence and warmth, making it more than just a museum it’s an experience that stays with you. It’s a place I return to again and again, and each time I leave with a deeper appreciation and connection.

I pulled up to take a look but the security guy freaked me out. I asked is this open to the public? and he said not no more looked kinda creepy and told me and my girl that we had to give him all our stuff including my watch. I said actually im ok and just left didn’t even make it in the door .
