I really appreciate and thank Jewish family services so much. I called in asking for assistance with my electric bill because I’m on insulin I need my refrigerator on 24/7. Long story short they didn’t hesitate to help me out asap.. We need people like them in our community willing to help those in need.. will be letting those in need know they can count on them.. Thank you again for all you guys do!!!!!

Although ultimately Jewish Family Services are unable to use the household items, I am looking to donate from my friend's estate you provided me with several alternatives to check out. It was great hearing your voice Lisa! The pandemic unfortunately has changed too many things in our community. I miss GOING to all the activities and services at Schaarai Zedek. I participate in Shabbat services, Lunch & Learns—on the website or ZOOM but it is different. I look forward to seeing you in person again once things return to some semblance of normal!

From my personal experience, they really dont seem to care about helping people much for REAL on a REAL level or even returning calls(I'm Jewish) so disappointed in them and very ashamed they call themselves a "Family Jewish Center"..you gotta be rich or have a special way to get in touch with someone who would actual care to even give us the time of day. Called to get tax return assistance as a Jewish senior in the Tampa area as I know I'm due a decent refund but don't want to run my 2018 taxes myself due to so many changes to the tax code in the last few years. I need to get this done by next month. Unfortunately their staff attendant didn't listen to my voicemail clearly and emailed me their app and rules for getting financial assistance, which I didn't ask for. Now I have to call them again and ask again if they can help with taxes, not financial assistance. I will probably contact AARP and Hillsborough County Senior Services also if Jewish Services can't help, even though it's well past their tax season assistance programs for the year.

May not come through when you want them too, but they are right on time!
