Aviva by Kameel Downtown.

This was my first time visiting a halal restaurant in downtown, and I had a wonderful experience. All of the ingredients were fresh and seemed carefully chosen with health in mind. I especially enjoyed the light, well-balanced flavors and the subtle use of spices, which made the food delicious without being overwhelming. I was also impressed by the owner, who took the time to interact with customers and made everyone feel welcome. I would definitely love to come back.

I've been a loyal customer of Aviva for quite some time and eat at the Peachtree Center location about five times a week for lunch. On weekends, I occasionally visit the Midtown and Buckhead locations. The food is consistently excellent, which is why I continue to support the business. The owner is genuinely kind, and the majority of the staff are welcoming and hardworking. However, I feel it's important to speak up about my experiences. At the Peachtree Center location, I've been treated rudely by the owner's wife at the register on multiple occasions. It has happened enough times that other employees and even the owners have noticed the interactions. I've always brushed it off because I enjoy the food and didn't want to make an issue out of it, but after repeated experiences, I don't think it's fair to stay silent. I've also had frustrating experiences at the Midtown location. Nearly every time I visit, I end up being charged for extra sauces, condiments, or other small add-ons that I've never been charged for at the Peachtree Center location, where I eat almost every day. It feels inconsistent and leaves me wondering why loyal customers are treated differently depending on which location they visit. This review isn't meant to attack the business because I genuinely enjoy Aviva and want to continue supporting it. It's simply honest feedback from someone who spends money here multiple times every week. Consistency in customer service and pricing across all locations would make a huge difference. The food keeps me coming back, but I hope these concerns are taken seriously so every customer has the same positive experience, no matter which location they visit.

Love this place. Everything is perfect

Good quality halal food right in downtown atlanta, good variety of selection from vegetables, lamb, fish and chicken. Tried their rosemary chicken and shawarma chicken. It was tasty. Met with the owner as well.

The rating says it all! We went and everything that’s mentioned is true! We waited in a line but were served free soup samples which tasted so good and definitely like Mama made! The chef 👨‍🍳 is so sweet and full of energy! The food line moves fast and you are able to pick your meat and two! The serving size is large! We split. The chicken was very flavorful and tender! The sweet potatoes were soft and just the right amount of cinnamon! The squash medley was so good! 😊 were we greeted again by the chef 👨‍🍳 He checked to make sure everyone was pleased! They have a restroom 🚻 on site and while I was there my husband and the chef 👨‍🍳 were hugging “he said I love your energy!” Awesome food and awesome service! If you are in downtown, check out the HUB and this place for some really awesome food! Healthy and delicious 😋

This was an incredible meal! The food was so delicious and fresh. The flavors were amazing. I want to have this meal in my hometown in Utah. I got to meet Chef Kameel and he was so full of life and love and passion for his food. It’s the best!! He is the best!! I can’t wait to come back! I am so grateful to have had a nice, healthy meal while traveling for the World Cup!

Honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had, the chef was wonderful and came out to speak to us and offer more food. He was very welcoming to our group of 20 with 12 being children. So impressed with the quality of the food and the taste. Don’t be fooled cuz it’s in a food court it’s really high quality.

This place was absolutely amazing. The chef was present and he's a character that you have to experience to truly get why I think the place was over-the-top good. Fresh food, delicious, authentic flavors, generous portions, and superb service. The price was a little higher than normal lunch, but the value was definitely there. I ate the lamb shawarma plate with baba ganoush and lentils. Chef Kameel gifted me a side of sweet potatoes and a small serving of soup, as well. I would have gladly paid for everything I ate. So very delicious.

Delicious and clean lunch. Lentils the only item I would not recommend and the 2 sides is a little confusing compared to other bowl establishments. Was offered some lentils but didn’t realise it was an extra charge.

I visited on 25th March this year. The good selection was amazing. The prices are reasonable. Next time I travel to Atlanta, I will definitely go to eat at Aviva, there were choices for meat eaters, vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian. Kameel himself was such a great host and very friendly 👌🏾
