The Breman Museum & Cultural Center.

I had a wonderful experience visiting the Breman Museum. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, educational, and deeply moving, offering meaningful insight into Jewish history, culture, and resilience. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions, making the visit even more enjoyable. Everything was well organized, clean, and easy to explore at your own pace. I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Atlanta—it’s a truly memorable and worthwhile experience.

Awesome Museum full of history.. Full of old artifacts and Jewish history from the 1800's. People are super nice here. It's a walk through and has lots of resting spots. Lots of very informative videos, throughout that you can sit and watch. Love my experience. Parking is in a gated area and free.. Library has passed for free entry up to 4. Photography is allowed but not allowed to be put on any social media. Hope you have a great time.

This museum reflects and teaches everyday Jewish customs. It shows the history and evolution of the Jews who came to Atlanta along with the growth they have contributed to the city, without a doubt it is a place that should be visited with the greatest respect. As a native Georgia resident I was touched by the honest self reflection about the Jewish community's role in the civil rights movement both positive and negative. Too often museums present a single view on a subject and it was refreshing to see the nuances of history appreciated. The staff also were so welcoming they made me feel very comfortable there.

Edit: Visited 6/2/2024: This place is STILL AMAZING. I leave here feeling heavy because of the Holocaust, but I do enjoy catching up on history. I brought my nieces and nephew! I love this place... I went with my Husband, son, and his friend!!! (7/22/2019) There is so much history in this museum, and they bring it all to life through pictures and artifacts... You can visit your local library and get free admission for four people by checking out a pass. I have read about the Holocaust, but its nothing like seeing it face to face...Nothing really prepared me for all of the valuable information I learned... A lot of the information was heartbreaking... Especially when it came to the children...Starvation is a slow death and I would not wish it on my worst enemy... They also had a Houdini exhibit which had a lot of interesting facts about Houdini... I would definitely come back so that I can read EVERYTHING and really take my time... I came two hours before closing so it was not enough time to read everything but I still enjoyed myself... Staff is really nice and the bathrooms and museum were clean...

Several years ago I would bring fifth grade students on tours. Wonderful place and students learn so much more.

Visite el museo hace 20 años en un viaje escolar. Había un sobreviviente que nos compartió su historia y con el cual tengo foto. Me encantaría saber su nombre si es posible. Es muy importante para mí.
