Would've liked to use the Torah more, a lot of singing, like a musical, they use the term black. Why is the Negro Anthem in the program? Three hour service, I will go to the 1 1/2 service next time. The Masquerade Ball sounds interesting. I made a new friend. They had shofars and played the drums. Don't go hungry. Would have liked to have stayed afterwards, but another engagement. So nice they have a free pantry outside, that looks like a free library box. Pray to attend the 100th + bldg anniversary. They use the same changed calendar as the others. Was expecting to see Ethiopians. One of the rabbian is Haitian or Nigerian. There was a language barrier.

The Rabbi was very welcoming and the flow in between hebrew and English was very good.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. You can tell that they have a system that you see the people that go have good morals and do not practice sin. I’m a Christian and go to a church about God the one from the Bible.That’s why I’m giving it five star. Make sure to also ask about getting baptized

My husband and I were blessed to visit during the 106th anniversary weekend for this historical congregation. The order of service was excellent and inclusive for Hebrew and English readers alike. The congregants were friendly and very hospitable. Hoping to visit again soon.

the prayer book is awesome for the absolute beginner. sephardic translations are available . Warm,clean and very spoken .

Every time I go, I enjoy being in this house of worship.
