Great place along the Lakeshore drive.

I went on a weekend so the temple was closed but i did get a chance to explore the meditation and entire place. It is so peaceful. you can go there, find your peace spot, sit/meditate and just consume the beauty of nature. Also it was a bit cloudy when i went so that added up to the entire experience.

The community is incredibly welcoming Im glad they have such a strong security presence with the rise in antisemitism The location can’t be beat—so beautiful

Over my 74 Years, the clergy is by for The most friendly and helpful I’ve met. The membership, without exception, have been wonderful to get to know, and share prayer with.

Speaks of embrace,feels hostile and gated. Not welcoming. Came to get inspired left underwhelmed and disgusted.

Temple Sholom is definitely a larger synagogue, but with that, they have created and worked hard with the community to form very specific and smaller groups to help everyone feel at home. Their sanctuary is beautiful, and if you have a chance to attend a regular Shabbat service, I highly recommend it. I am in my 20s and loved attending a special service designed for 20 and 30-year-olds with their Makom group. They have excellent clergy, are incredibly inclusive, and really do a great job making everyone feel welcome. Since it is a larger synagogue, you will have to make an effort to try out their groups and attend functions to get to know the community.
