Came to visit a buried family member while visiting Chicago and the cemetery is old and charming. The staff was very helpful and helped me locate the plot quickly.

My family has 12 plots at Waldheim/Silverman Weiss. Each time I have needed assistance Vivian has been available and helpful. As my family has owned these graves since the early 1960's my father's family including my parents and brother were laid to rest here. I just visited and all the graves were in perfect shape. I have perpetual care on all 10 graves that have been used. I find you must frequent the cemetery annually or biannually to ensure your loved ones resting place is cared for. I live in another State and I make routine trips just to ensure that all is well.

Vivien and Alan were AMAZING!!!! Vivien was SOOO patient with me. Helped me navigate to the cemetery. He understood that I had no experience in this big cemetery and was visiting a different part of Chicago. And Alan went out an put an orange cone where i needed to turn in AND a marker to show me where the grave of my grandmother was. Plus, I found my cousin 2 graves over. So, now i have visited BOTH of them. They didn't answer the phone all the time. They did call me back. They answered when they knew i was on my way. Vivien and Alan provided EXCELLENT customer service. Plus, they take care of people when they are distraught and burying their loved one. Please show your bosses. They have amazing assets as employees. These 2 guys ARE the BEST!!! THANK YOU,

Vivian took such good care of me, both on the phone and when I arrived. She sent an escort to take me to the gravesite. You may have to be patient when you call. They may not answer straight away. They must be taking tender care of someone else.

I cant even give one star. I pay for flowers and winter cover as well as perpetual care and nothing happens. Customer service is non existent. I would not recommend it.

Our family has found it very challenging working with Silverman & Weiss. Although we pay for perpetual care for my mother's graveside, as well as other relatives, the care is not done regularly as promised. In the cemetery, there are fallen tombstones where graves are left neglected. The sidewalks leading to the graves are cracked and bumpy. At this time, I would not recommend this business. If something drastically changes in the future, I would be glad to post a positive comment.
