I prepaid for a headstone with the last owner but I want a refund. I don't trust Haciel Cervantes.

The new owner is disrespectful and removing head stones cause he feels like it. Everyone needs to check on their loved ones. They don’t care about your loved one here.. stay away they will not rest in peace as they should here.
Taking a loved one’s headstone because “you don’t have the paperwork” after 10 years is wild
Please don't bury your loved ones here. My grandpa died in 2008. Around 2010 I heard that no one in my family ordered his death date on his headstone (it was a shared headstone with my grandma who had already passed). I contacted the cemetery and ordered it to be put on. I remember because it was a big deal at the time for me to pay the money (I didn't have much). Fast forward to 2025 and I found out that they never actually did it. Of course I have no paperwork from 15 years earlier so I had to start all over. I made call after call after call trying to get someone to answer or reply to my messages. Weeks went by and I couldn't get anyone to respond. It literally took 7 months, 9 emails, and 31 calls in order to get them to put a death date on the headstone. I would do 0 stars if it let me.
Don’t Bury Your Love Ones Here So Unprofessional & Will Remove Your Tombstone After Years As If You Would Forget
Until recently this review would have been 0 stars but with new ownership and management there’s been a drastic change in EVERYTHING! In the past they had opened the wrong grave for my father’s burial (2002) and my husband’s burial as well(2022). The grounds were unkept, there were potholes everywhere and numerous headstones falling off of their foundations. At the time of my husband’s burial I stood at the gravesite during the prayers knowing that the next day I’d have to go into the office. I did and dealt with Shon. She was very understanding and we worked everything out without any issues. Since then I have dealt with Shon on a few issues that were rectified to my satisfaction. In addition to Shon I’ve had numerous positive interactions with Haciel, the new owner. He was very attentive, responsive and patient. He handled the re-engraving of our headstone and did a phenomenal job. Under his ownership the condition of the grounds, the entryways and the office have changed, drastically! I’m relieved because now when I visit I’m not irritated. He has mentioned that there are other plans in the works as well. If I could give a 10 star review I would!!!
I came out to visit my Pop-paw.. after seeing some of the reviews I was worried. It has been many years since I could get out here.. however.. it was all mowed and clean. My only complaint.. actually worry is my Pop-paw s headstone is crooked.. and I wish it had better markers. My Mom passed last year.. and there's no one else who knew where he was. I had the section and the plot number.. but they're hard to find and read. I walked the section looking for him! Thank God I found him! I will be back more often.. he is loved and missed greatly.. he was a wonderful Pop-paw!!

The hours opened are very limited
This place is horrible they steal my family members things from the grave site
The office staff is very helpful in helping me to find the graves of family.
I'd give zero but I can't. How can you close a cemetery at 4 pm....
2 helpful votesHow you have a sign saying you open on Sunday from 9 -4, but you have lines of car sitting at 9:18 waiting for someone to open the gates on Father's Day 🤔 This is really bad for business wouldn't put my loves out in this place
3 helpful votesThis place has become junk. My mom's headstone does not have her death date on and it's been 4 years almost 5. The grounds flood every time it rains. I'm terribly sorry my grandparents picked this place.

If you do business with glenoaks and Old Ridge cemetery make sure you save all your paperwork because I started the process with my mother in 2018 because she was very sick she passed away in 2022 I paid for the headstone in full and on my contract that says when you pay in full it should be made and in 2022 it was not made and the lady on the line told me don't believe everything you read in the contract. So I'm waiting for a call back from Timothy and if they can't produce my mom's headstone I'm just going to get my money back and go somewhere else and it's a shame that you have to stay on top of these people and fight and prove your paperwork and your contract numbers and they have no clue what they're doing in that office Today is Wednesday 1 1123 I will wait for a call back from Timothy until Friday 1:13 23 and if I don't hear anything back I will call 7 on your side and I will get them involved and they will get me my answers I'm looking for

Ms. Patrice Scott is extremely unprofessional. She lacks empathy, and needs training to deal with grieving families. She legit tried to cover a miscommunication on her part by lying. This could have led to a family quarrel. It’s not that serious. A simple apology could have sufficed. Her supervisor, Davonna is extremely difficult to get in contact with. Also the grounds of the cemetery beyond the front portion is unkept, and the office is outdated. I would not recommend this place for your loved ones. I pray Patrice learns empathy before she has to put up with someone like herself while grieving when she has to bury one of her children or another loved one in her own family. Please learn to treat grieving families with respect.
