This camp is so bad like the worst camp in the world (they also lost my AirPods)

We are not orthodox, however that doesn’t matter when you come to Camp Nageela. My son has gone to camp since he was 9 and still returns to camp as a staff in training. The friendships and memories made here are so special. They offer brotherhood/sisterhood programs throughout the year to continue the connections made after camp. These conversations ranged from keeping the kids motivated to do well in school, their sport, checking in on their family, and asking about their plans for the next Jewish holiday coming up. 2 years ago, a rabbi came to the camp to offer another program for the teens to go to Israel. My son and his 2 best friends from camp went. It was the most amazing experience he’s ever had and I’m forever grateful to Camp Nageela for giving my son these experiences. They have an incredible staff, your child will learn how to observe Shabbat fully, sing songs, and develop a lot of other skills they may not have tried before. I can’t recommend this camp enough.

They pretty much brainwash everyone into being super religious and Jewish. They want everyone to be orthodox teach them Hebrew and basically conduct classes on how to be a proper Jew. If you want your child to do this you should go to this camp however if you are not interested in becoming an Orthodox Jewish person do not. One of my friends went to here with me one summer and felt so strongly about everything they told her that she made her parents enroll her into a Jewish private school and now her whole family is religious though they weren’t at all before. This camp is absolute trash... they fed us the most unhealthy food ever, and I gained a total of 18 pounds. The counselors all are forced to wear a long sleeve shirts and skirts in the girls session, and I was even forced to get a Jewish name and learn how to pray. This is a great camp for orthodox Jews however you should know you’re getting into before you sign your child up for this.

I called because it came up under luxury rv park. The girl was abrupt and hung up on me when I asked a question. It's a Jewish something. Sad!

I went to Camp Nageela for 4 summers! It is an amazing experience for everyone involved. The grounds are beautiful, the activities are exciting, the staff is awesome, and it has a real family feel to it.

Nageela is the best camp. This will be my third year at camp and it is truly a magical experience. I went to camp Interlaken in Eagle River Wisconsin and was not happy there because I had gone to Nageela before it and felt the right knit community that you can only get there. Since, it is such a small camp type know everybody in every grade, so it is a giant family. At camp you also go on field trips. They are so much fun. Last year we went to an amusement park. That was so much fun. The food is amazing. Lastly, the best part of the entire camp experience is the connection you feel to Judaism. I can say that when I went home I kept praying every morning because I learned how much religion plays a role in your life. If you are looking into going into a Jewish camp please pick Nageela. I can assure you that you won't regret it.
