Disappointed to have spent hours uploading information filling out documents and paying for camp for my girls. Only to be told they will not accept a religious exemption for vaccinations. My daughter’s brother is severe autistic and epileptic due to vaccine injuries and got mercury and lead poisoning. If you have a child unvaccinated don’t waist your time at this place like I did.

Response from the organization

3 months ago Because our camps are immersive living experiences and we live in very close quarters, the Union for Reform Judaism has a national camp vaccination requirement developed with the intention of keeping our community safe. That information is available on our website and can be found and considered prior to enrolling.

Wonderful! Amazing experience. Schedule and programming are excellent. New pool is fun and has a cool slide, pipeline & rockwall.

One of their slogans, for the time of your life, is a drastic understatement. If you don't want to go cause there's a program where you lean Hebrew and anther where you learn about Jewish history, if you dint want to go cause there's learning there then you are entirely missing out. I loved all 8 sessions in the 7 summers I went.

My daughter had the best time of her life there. If you are ever questioning going, just do it. You will meet the best people ever there and will never want to leave. It is such an amazing welcoming place and really puts your child into the outdoors and of their phones.

A true home away from home. Went from shoresh on, and it was the best decision I think I’ve ever made. GUCI is what helped me find my Jewish identity and I’ll always be grateful for that!
