I am disappointed with my experience with Jewish Family and Career Services. After paying a significant about of money for their services, I expected timely communication and professionalism. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. I have had little to no communication about the status of my report. Repeated attempts to reach out by phone and email have gone unanswered, which is frustrating and unacceptable given the cost and importance of the service. Additionally, working with Dr. Roos has been disappointing due to the slow pace and lack of responsiveness throughout this process. At this price point, clients deserve clear timelines, updates, and basic communication. Overall, I cannot recommend this organization based on my experience. If you are considering their services, be aware of potential delays and difficulty getting in touch with staff.
I volunteered here in the 1980's , when my mother thought working there would increase my lack of love for the faith. I don't know why my uncle insisted I stay in touch. The food bank's answer to being gluten free is to offer boxed Passover crap, which requires needed food - ingredients to make. They are massively understaffed, and I have to wonder why I bother- IF you can provide me not substandard housing, as promised, I might be convinced.
If I could give this place a negative number rating it would be -100. My MIL set up for family therapy with Naomi Carrico, gave her my husbands information. When we would give the issues we had with my MIL, Naomi decided not to do the therapy at the time. BUT the steps she gave my MIL were not applied to help. She admitted to causing harm to my children but would not say what she did. NOW my MIL tricked my husband to file for divorce and paid the attorney fees for that. He canceled the process which made her furious. She then called and made a 911 call saying she witnessed domestic violence when she brought my husband to a residence he did not live at, and they arrested me for protecting myself and my 3 kids. Naomi has no idea how to handle this level of therapy needed for this individual but she also does not know how to say no. She specializes in prenatal, postnatal depression. MY MIL IS 69 years old with narcissistic, histrionic tendencies. Far outside the scope of what Naomi is accustomed to. But money is money, so is fraud and malpractice, and neglect of proper diagnosis.
I loved how Muna help with the process of starting my business. Available at all times and will work with your schedule, Thank you :) :)

Multiple community services are offered here and are available to ALL. Please don't let the word Jewish in the name mislead anyone into thinking that services are only provided to followers of Judaism or that the services are faith based or have a covert mission to convert any individual from one faith to another. I have received counseling here from extremely qualified and sympathetic therapists. The fees for counseling services can be priced on a sliding scale for those without health insurance and even for those with insurance with high co-pays or limited mental health coverage. I have also received information about elder care assistance, transportation for individuals in wheelchairs or with limited mobility, even resources for help for the care takers such as respite and additional social services. The facility also helps link individuals to vocational training and rehabilitation as well as assistance for students looking to apply to college.

They provided very valuable services when my position was eliminated. I hadn't looked for a job in 26 years. Great service.

The staff and professional service providers at the JFCS Louisville are top-notch -- for career and college advisement, elder services, small-business consulting and so much more.

JFCS Louisville provides outstanding services for young and old -- from college and career advisement, counseling services, food pantry, older adult care, assistance for immigrants and refugees, and so much more. I highly recommend their caring, professional staff, who is always eager to provide guidance. Plus, the agency offers lots of opportunities for volunteering. JFCS Louisville is open to the entire community.

Whether you're Jewish or not, you can expect professional service here. They offer job workshops, senior health care in a patient's home, and help for starting a new business. JFCS is this community's home grown secret! Try them. I did.
