Camp Micah.

For the last several years, Camp Micah has been my kids' happy place. My oldest (12 yo) says it's where he can fully be his true self. My youngest (8 yo) says, "It's just the best." The growth, gained independence, life lessons and social connections my kids make every year are noticeable to everyone back home. The Camp Micah community is real - my kids' lives are forever changed by the connections they've made with campers and counselors alike. All of this is only more valuable as the years go by with zero screens, life lessons and challenges, and IRL social connections - things that just can't be replicated in the same way anywhere else. Micah is truly our home away from home.

From the moment we stepped onto Camp Micah for our tour, we knew it was the place for our family. It wasn’t just the beautiful facilities, which is incredible..it was the feeling. We all immediately felt a sense of belonging. Fast forward to our son’s first summer, and he experienced that same magic firsthand. He couldn’t stop talking about everything he loved…from the sports, hikes, and amazing food to the incredible counselors and friendships he made. He especially loved the sense of community and being surrounded by other Jewish kids, learning more about his heritage in such a fun and meaningful way. One of the things we appreciated most was how much choice campers have. He was able to help create his own schedule before camp, which gave him ownership over his experience while also encouraging him to try new things. As parents, we never would have guessed our sports obsessed son would come home with a newfound love of playing guitar! The counselors were absolutely phenomenal. He adored them, and it was obvious they cared deeply about every camper. The administrative team was just as wonderful. They were always available to answer questions, whether it was about packing, programming, or anything in between. They made us feel supported every step of the way and treated our son like he was part of their own family. Camp Micah is so much more than a summer camp. It’s a place where kids grow in confidence, build lifelong friendships, discover new passions, and truly feel like they belong. We cannot recommend Camp Micah highly enough.

Camp Micah is my daughter's favorite place in the world. It is her home away from home-- a place she feels loved, supported, and free to be exactly who she is. Through her summers at Micah, she has formed lifelong friendships, grown tremendously in independence and confidence, and created memories that will last forever. The staff is exceptional, and the sense of community at Micah is unlike anything we've experienced. There is simply no place like Camp Micah, and we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact it has had on our daughter's life.

This is probably the best summer camp in the country, my daughter is go there since she is 9 , what this kids having there it is out of this world , Freinds for life , the way that this camp is running is super professional , the kids literally can’t Waite for Sumer just to go there . I highly recommend.

Camp Micah is honestly amazing. The staff are super friendly and make everyone feel included right away. There’s always something fun going on, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into everything they do. It’s a great place to make friends and just have a really fun, memorable summer. Everyone accepts you for who you are and I would suggest it every time for anyone who is looking at overnight camp! Highly recommend!

Camp Micah has genuinely the most welcoming, energized community. I had the most amazing 11 summers at Micah and made all of my best friends.

Camp Micah has made a significant impact on all three of my children. I started sending my children to camp in 2009. My family is still very involved in the Camp Micah community. Each summer when my children return how, I see a huge change in their confidence and growth as individuals. Camp Micah has been a community where my children can truly be themselves. Sending my children to Camp Micah was one of the best parenting decisions I have made. The staff and administration are top notch, extremely communicative and have become family.

An amazing camp! It's a home away from home for my girls! They talk about it all year and cannot wait for summer to come to go back! It's their favorite place! The staff is wonderful and caring! They have so many fantastic activities to choose from each day and they make memories that will last a lifetime!!!

Camp Micah is an amazing place. All 3 of my kids went there from the youngest camper year through the oldest camper year and would continue to still go if they were able to! It truly is their favorite place on earth. Camp Micah is where they have met lifelong friends who are like family, and the experience has helped them grow into the caring, thoughtful, accepting, confident people they are today. I can't say enough about how awesome Camp Micah is!

Camp Micah has been my son's happy place for the last 3 years. He had never been away from home and we were super anxious. The entire staff from the head to the counselors were absolutely amazing. He has learned so many new skills that he would never get at home. The friendships he has made I know will last a life time. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!!!

Just think twice about sending your kid here and expecting them to be protected from bad behavior by other kids, especially if your kid is a little socially awkward. We had a very bad experience circa 2014, albeit a long time ago, and we should have been more vocal at the time once we realized (after the fact) what had happened.
