George Washington/Mt Lebanon Cemeteries.

My experience at George Washington Cemetery although I was about to do something hard and something I really didn’t want to do. Akil Allen made it a painless for me. He was friendly and even funny at times that had me laughing. I would recommend George Washington Cemetery to anyone that are in need to lay their love ones to rest

My mother has been buried here for 9 years, everything was fine, we were aware of the two clean-ups every year, and every clean- up they have gone around my mothers headstone and taken dead flowers. There was an incident where we left a snow globe there and they threw it away. Fine, whatever. That was on us for not taking it before cleaning, but the headstone was left alone. This year they threw away her headstone using the excuse that it is not a “permanent” headstone and no possible way to retrieve it. It’s been there for 7 years and not once was it ever picked up or thrown out. This place does not have the decency to let you know when they do stuff like this. An email would’ve been nice before you threw out something that cost us thousands of dollars. Just a suggestion! Picture below was taken after the fall clean-up of 2025. The headstone that was deemed “not permanent” despite them always leaving it alone. Just gone forever now. Grave left unidentifiable.

Yinka at Mt Lebanon was fantastic to deal with and handled all aspects of the arrangements. This was a very stressful time and working with Yinka to purchase the grave site and make all arrangements for the grave side service in a very expedited time frame eliminated much of my stress. Everything was perfect. Mt Lebanon and Yinka were wonderful to work with.

Aside from the beautiful serene location, we are very grateful for the attentiveness, attention to detail and the open communication. We will always appreciate the staff in helping our family through this difficult time. Also, thank you Chris Granados for your continued support and dedication.

Ante una de las situaciones más difíciles que cualquier ser humano puede enfrentar, estar acompañado por personas amables, comprensivas y dispuestas a ayudar hace una diferencia enorme. Hace 15 años viví la pérdida de mi hijo, un proceso profundamente traumático. Sin embargo, recuerdo con mucho agradecimiento a la primera persona que me atendió en ese momento; fue alguien muy humano, que me brindó apoyo y contención cuando más lo necesitaba. Durante todos estos años, no había sido capaz siquiera de colocar la placa de mi bebé. Esta semana, finalmente reuní la fuerza para dar ese paso, y al regresar al cementerio me encontré con otra persona extraordinaria: el señor Christopher. Su trato amable, su disposición y la forma en que logró generar una conversación incluso más allá de mi dolor, me brindaron una tranquilidad que no esperaba sentir. No habría podido dar este paso sin ese recibimiento tan cálido y respetuoso. Gracias, Cris, de corazón. Aunque no recuerdo el nombre de la primera persona que me ayudó, sé que aún trabaja allí, y también le agradezco profundamente por el apoyo que me brindó en aquel momento. Hoy, además, me llevo la reflexión de lo importante que es planificar y reservar espacios para que nuestros seres queridos no tengan que pasar por procesos tan difíciles como el que yo viví. Recomiendo este lugar con total confianza. Es un espacio organizado, limpio y, sobre todo, lleno de paz. Cada vez que visito a mi hijo, puedo sentir esa tranquilidad. Gracias nuevamente. Y si alguien está considerando un lugar donde descansar eternamente, creo que definitivamente este es el indicado.

Akil Allen did a wonderful job assisting the family during our time of bereavement. He continues to process the paperwork and followup as we work on getting markers obtained and installed for both our family members. Appreciate all that he does.

I’ve been working with Cristopher to bring my mother’s ashes back to Adelphi to be buried with my dad. He has been extremely helpful with the process. Professional, communicative, patient, caring, and thorough.

There is a tremendous disdain from part of the management office at adelphi rd,md.we had paid for and have the plaque in order.there is no follow up or updates from management,if you call the office and ask x your sales representative in this case chris,he never returns your calls or gives updates as to when is the plaque order coming.my suggestions is for management to, do give costumers,a phone call,a online follow up,updates,show respect x our love ones,thanks

I, have five (5) members of my family resting in this facility; since 1995. When this cemetery was under previous management l had no more good reviews. But since 2023 my opinion of ii, has changed completely... my patience is reaching a limit
