I was at the MVA next door and was hungry and decided to get food from here. Big mistake. This was the worse food experience I’ve ever had. I ordered the chicken lo mein lunch combo. The only edible item was the canned soda. It was supposed to be fried rice and it was old white rice with literally 3 carrot cubes and drowned in soy sauce, the chicken was horrible and the alleged lo mein noodles were words I can’t even explain. I was totally disgusted. My niece ate some and then proceeded to get sick. As a retired Chef this is exactly why I don’t eat out. 10/10 DON’T DO IT. I wish I could post the picture I took on here. I had a wonderful experience, and a big part of it was thanks to Gebreal, the receptionist. He was professional, welcoming, and very kind from the moment I walked in.

It was not good

We decided to try a new spot as Ubereats advertised adding new restaurants choices. I chose Holy Chow and my family is not going to let me forget it. Pin feathers were abundant on every single fried wingette. The Kung Pao chicken was covered in a sauce that had no flavor yet there was a sour taste to it. The Vegetable Delight was also bland yet sour.. Both dishes had A peculiar taste as if they were spoiled. We paid extra for TWO orders of fried rice instead of the standard white rice. We received ONE order of overcooked WHITE RICE. I have never had a worse food experience. Even the fortune cookies were gross. How that's possible is beyond me. We spent over $50 and could not find a single item that was decent. 0/10 Do not recommend.

Talk about DISAPPOINTING and TERRIBLE.The fried rice was dry, bland and looked like a three year old made it. NEXT ISSUE THE PRICE I paid 16 bucks for fried rice and 19 for Szechuan chicken, which should be changed to stir fried vegetables which is all I got from that dish. Honestly I’m better off watching a YouTube video and making if it myself. I would not recommend going to eat here again what a disappointment

Incredible food and service highly recommend the beef lomain or the Singapore noodles

This place should health department close it, I order fried wings,they are the worst Wing I had so far,rude cashier, when I was paying a woman was picking her noise

Ordered food. Was told it would be ready in twenty mins. Upon finishing the order the time changed to 30 mins. I showed up 45 mins later to pick it up and they had literally not started making it. And the store kept going on and on about how busy they were so whoops they just didnt do it. Zero effort to remedy the situation.

This is a very good chinese takeout place with solid choices but sometimes the food takes long to get. I would reccomend it

We've been road tripping and sampled some ghastly kosher food. This place was fabulous. Would absolutely return. My kids want to come back. The food tastes good. The portions are ample. The lunch special feels reasonable. The fortune cookies flow freely. The people were knowledgeable and helped us find gluten free options for one kid. They could use a better air conditioner but that's a mild complaint.

Not too many options for the 9 days

We love Holy Chow's Chinese food, but this review is about their new smoothie bar. We decided we couldn't choose just one, so we gathered some friends and sampled all 7 smoothies. Each one was a hit, but Strawberry Shore was the clear winner. The banana fans were in the minority, but they loved Banana Bay Breeze and Tiki Tropical Twist. We had an amazing time with our group taste test. 10/10 recommend! 😊

Easy pick up of takeout, food was ready, great takeout, pleasant counter person, easy ordering on the phone or online. Best Hot and Sour soup. Egg Drop was also awesome. No MSG. They have gluten free options!
