The Boston Workers Circle center is a Center for Progressive Jewish culture and activism. Yiddish classes, Monthly Yiddish sing, secular Shavues programs, Secular Jewish High Holiday programs and a children's shule (school) and lots more. The community takes a strong stand advocating for peace in Israel/Palestine and against the policies of the current Israeli government.

This is a great community/home for folks interested in yiddishkayt in the "linke" sense of the word: the social justice consciousness mixed with a sense of our heritage and strong Jewish values. In education: Shule, our children's Sunday school, to adult education classes, to yiddish language classes and discussion groups. In community, A Besere Velt, the yiddish community chorus, the jams and songs and all the secular holiday events, including once a month Shabes potlucks. I loved growing up in this community, and I'm proud to be a part of it as an adult.
