A warm and haimish (homey) space to relax, study and nosh!

Unique and fun
This is the most amazing kosher restaurant. I had the fish and chips, the best I've had outside of England! And I just discovered I got a Resy statement credit for my meal there. Thank you!
Very tasty fish and chips and Neapolitan dessert in relaxed and hyper clean environment decorated like a bookstore. Full we’ll -stocked bar
Finest kosher dining we've seen
Fantastic bar drinks!! 🍸
Really disappointed with my experience with Lehrhaus. I signed up and paid for a 3/15/26 class. I texted a friend to say I’d meet her there, and she told me the instructor had already canceled it that morning. Lehrhaus never updated the listing and allowed registrations and payments. If I hadn’t reached out to my friend, I would have shown up to a canceled event. I contacted them the same day and then they confirmed it was canceled as an afterthought. A refund should have been immediate. Instead, after multiple follow-ups over more than two weeks—and being told it was sent to their events team and would be taken care of—I still haven’t received a refund or any response. This goes beyond an oversight. It’s poor communication and a lack of accountability. I’ve enjoyed classes here before, they are small and provide an opportunity to ask questions and learn from each other. But this is a warning: you may not be notified if something is canceled, and getting your money back may not be easy. It’s also unprofessional that Lehrhaus chose to immediately post a public response explaining why I wasn’t refunded instead of resolving the issue. Had they looked into my first email, they would have seen the ticket was in limbo and addressed it. Instead, they ignored my repeated emails until I posted a negative review, only then acknowledging and investigating the situation. They were clearly only concerned about their optics and not about solving the issue.
I wanted to update this. They reached out and addressed my concerns. I have never had a problem here since! Don’t go here if you have any breathing issues or allergies. This place is inaccessible to people with breathing difficulties. The library is excessively dusty and I have gotten asthma attacks and illness after being there. I cannot attend events there as a result. I notified the staff of this and received absolutely no response. I guess they don’t care about accessibility bc they make enough money without it. Hoping a review will get their attention.

A great place to go out for a date or business event. Very friendly staff, great quality menu items. Varied and tasty. I highly recommend it.
Do not go here under any circumstance.
Thoughtful and delicious menu. Loved the Negroni!
A phenomenally vibrant and welcoming space! The food and drink menus are creative, ambitious, and do not disappoint, and even if you don't attend a learning session, the atmosphere of culture and ideas is palpable.
