My local JCC! Since there is so much to say I will say very little!

My niece has volleyball tournaments here and after 5 hours you're feeling miserable. There's like 5 chairs and benches to sit on, which are all wholly uncomfortable, everything is dirty and run down looking, and it's freezing cold. Charging $10 per person is excessive and where does it go? Absolutely not into the building, facilities, or property, I can tell you that. Parking is also a nightmare, good luck finding a spot anywhere. There's extra lots but as of late you're not allowed to park there. It's like the goal of these people is to make you as uncomfortable and irritated as possible.

My kid's volleyball team keeps having tournaments here which is a shame because out of all of the places they have played at this is easily the worst. The school gyms even in poor areas at least have more seating! It looks beautiful and expensive on the outside but when you walk in, it's a dump. Dirty and hardly anywhere at all to sit and an incredibly uncomfortable place to be in for one of those long tournaments. Kiosk prices aren't terrible but more expensive than what it should be for what you get, the vending machines don't work consistently and when you tell the people who work there one stole your money they shrug and say they aren't responsible for the vending machines, it's just a terrible location to get stuck at on a Saturday. Oh and the first time we went here a bunch of the moms didn't didn't know what building to go in so we tried asking at one of the buildings nearby and the young woman working in that building (long brown hair, in her 20s) was rude and condescending rather than helpful. None of the parents I have spoken to like having to go to this facility, I wish they would put a couple bucks into maybe throwing up some cheap collapsible benches or seats they could put away when events aren't ongoing. Just improve the experience slightly.

Honestly this is one of the only places around to play roller hockey. The only problem is, is they let higher division players and teams play anywhere. When you’re a lower level team you should be going against lower level players. I understand some teams may have a few good players. But not the WHOLE TEAM. It’s a shame that they let teams mercy others in the 1s & 2nd periods and continue to play in that division. I pay good money to play all 3 periods. There’s gotta be a way to stop this.
