Feel this would be a great community to improve my life and atone for my dark past. However I've been unable to get ahold of the current Rabbi for over a week after he suggested we talk. Would still like to get in contact or at least know what's going on.

The rabbi has been available to a wide range of folks these days, from congregants, to news media, to senate leaders. Keep in touch with him, by phone and/or email.
