Camp Bighorn.

My son and I attended the family camp. The care, thoughtfulness and attentiveness of the staff, the heart to serve and meet the families where they are at, and the most surprising and endearing part of the experience - to experience a group of servants with a heart to groom leaders out of the next generation, demonstrated in all that they do. What an experience! Nourished and Strengthened - physically, in my soul and spiritually. Comment from my son - "rafting at the [Alberton] Gorge was the best day of my life," and he learned many lessons this past week too. The view was breath-taking, the encounters spectacular and the new relationships formed priceless. Absolutely grateful for the experience. Shout-out to hubby for finding this hidden gem.

Camp Bighorn is the best Christian camp I have experienced. I did the Journey program as well as worked there for a summer. Its the kind of adventures that get you hooked like white water rafting, rock climbing, and zip lining. The staff are some of the most real, kind , safe, and caring people you'll meet. If you're looking for a unique Christian camp experience like no other check it out!

Our church has been going to Camp Bighorn for 6 years and our previous churches for 30 plus years but this was my first experience in person. I am so blessed to say that the staff, volunteers, the meals, the adventures and of course, GOD's creation were such a blessing to me, my family and our church. The heart to serve and help others grow closer to JESUS is what will stand out. I HIGHLY recommend Camp Bighorn!!

My daughter goes every summer and has A LOT of great stories when she comes home. Pricing is VERY reasonable!! See you next year!! They should get six stars !!

Used to come here since I was born, nearly. Up until probably age 16-18 we stopped. I miss it severely…it’s been about 12-14 years since I’ve been back. We used to go through the church sign up of Emmanuel Baptist Church which I no longer go to or even live near. I’ve been highly debating whether to work here for a season or two. If and when I do go back, I hope not too many changes have been made to the establishment. This place had a huge impact on me and my faith to the point where I consistently dream at night of being there :,(

I have been watching as this camp slowly hurts everyone I care about. It is really sad because when I went here for the journey program in 2018 I had an amazing life changing experience. But since then any friends and family that have gone there have been failed by the leaders of the camp. The main problem that the leaders have is a complete lack of emotional intelligence. They claim to be a place of guidance and support but anytime someone has a problem that goes beyond Sunday school level difficulty, they abandon the person who is struggling.
