I attended Jewish Family and Children Services(Asbury Park,NJ)from October-January the atmosphere was comfortable everyone was welcoming my counselor,Mr.Dannis Billups was the most awesome guy you ever want to meet I felt very comfortable talking to him he has a great sense of humor and he actually”CARED”I couldn’t have got a better counselor but! He was strick about attendance being on time and the classroom rules other than that everything was fine!I want to thank him for everything ❤️!BUT!there’s also another counselor named Mrs.Da’shonda Johnson(sorry Dannis!lol!)but she has a GREAT sense of humor we did a lot of laughing she made the sessions fun!she’s down to earth she didn’t make you feel like she was better then us(because we were in treatment, neither did Mr.Billups) at first I was reluctant of attending(felt as though I didn’t belong there)but as time went by i would look forward to attending it was a family oriented atmosphere AND I and going to miss it!I did one session with Hillary she was awesome also!the receptionist(I don’t know her name)but everyone spoke in passing!I want to thank the Jewish Family and Children Services it was a true experience if I had to do it again(WHICH I’M NOT!!!!)Jewish Family would be my number one choice.I was discharged January 12,2024 Mr.Billups assured me if I ever needed to talk or have and problems he’s there and that’s good to know!!Again thank you Dannis and Da’shonda❤️❤️ Thank you guys!THANK YOU.

Been a long journey but I completed it in 6 months help me a lot with my drug disease and help me learn to make it about me and not the reference that sent me there. Great counselors and great groups of people with thoughts from different perspectives I greatful for the help from the drug program at Jewish Family and Children's Services.

I had a friend who was apprehensive about seeking help for his situation, and I wasn't quite sure how to support him. That's when I decided to contact Jewish Family & Children's Service of Monmouth County. Their team was incredibly informative, providing me with the necessary information to share with my friend. This information immediately put him at ease, and I was able to facilitate an introduction between him and a team member. Within just a month of him utilizing their resources, I have witnessed a remarkable and positive transformation in him.

If you’re going for counseling this for me was the best experience! Denis Bilups was really there for me and the group meetings on Wednesday morning were great he really knew how to control the room and have people unlock their emotions that you wouldn’t even think some of these people had. I found out a lot about myself and grew as a person for the better. The evening meetings I wasn’t so fond of Denis didn’t do them was other people. Seemed like the people who didn’t take it seriously went in the evening just to get it over with. But I would highly recommend going to Jewish family center and definitely attending Wednesday morning groups with Denis, he makes it personal and his method works and I’m forever grateful.

This review is TRULY YEARS OVERDUE. The kindness bestowed on me by all....in particular sheri bald, lisa, annette, and last but most definitely not least victor ( from the store). It must be said that this team pulled me through some of my darkest, darkest hours, probably unbeknown to them. I feel strongly that the recognition of must be blasted to all and any who will read! THANK YOU !!!
