Very helpful Services!!! The staff are very educated and professional. I would recommend this agency to anyone in need of assistance. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 …
I I am going through a hard time. I reached out to Jewish family services for support per referral called the access center three times and left messages. On my fourth attempt, I finally spoke to somebody who transferred me to a supervisor. I left a message for the supervisor who did not return my call. I called the access center for the fifth time asked to speak to a supervisor. I left a message for another supervisor. Finally, I drove to one of the counseling centers. I was advised to fill out a form and somebody will call me. It’s been three weeks, two supervisors, six phone calls, and an in person visit. The only response I got is “we are very busy.” Exactly what I needed when I’m in a hard spot in my life and I reach out for help only for Jewish family services to tell me they’re too busy to even return my call for help. After all of that I don’t I want your services . if that’s an example of how you serve, keep it to yourself. obviously you are keeping it to yourself. Imagine what it takes for a person to reach out for help only to be told. You’re too busy five phone calls two supervisors and in person visit not like I didn’t try. JFS you should be ashamed
I spoke to the lady over the phone made a appointment
If you want your medical records messed up come here.. they'll add stuff that you don't even do like go to the gym . They won't even try to fix it .. they'll call and blame you .. for their doctors error.
This organization despite accepting my insurance and taking new patients told me I had to wait at least six months for an appointment because my insurance (that I pay for) is through Medicare...... Imagine telling an elderly disabled person reaching out for mental health help to tough it out for 6 months. Cruel and frankly, discriminatory behavior from an organization that prides itself on inclusivity
It is so sad they make people get on medication to get help with housing so if you don’t take the medication you don’t get no help with housing and it’s sad because people don’t even need medication then they give you the run around it’s sad I wonder how much they get paid for each person they put on medication
2 helpful votesThank you for such compassionate service to our community. Jewish Family Service is very worthy of donations. They use all that they have to minister to others.
These offices that pretend to help people and/or the community are complete garbage. Incompetent and with little to no humanity. I sought help at this place, and instead of waiting for someone to deign to answer my call, when they finally did, they told me they couldn't help me because the incompetent staff doesn't have anyone who speaks Spanish. … If they approved my comment, I'd give it zero stars. Thanks for nothing, Jewish Family 👎
Why does nobody from Jewish Family services never responds to anybody reviews on here?
I am an ex-soldier with a confirmed diagnosis and this place did nothing to connect me with treatment or aid. This place should be closed and sued for making this worse!!!!!
2 helpful votesFrom the beginning of our conversation the woman I spoke to seemed like she didn't want to do a thing. I explained to her I needed help with snaps she said I have to go to the county for that. Then I explained I need help with housing. She asked me if I was in the verge of being homeless, I explained Iam I just got out of rehab and I'm in sober living without a job. Then went on a rant why she can't help me so I just hung up the phone. Do better !

It was nice with JFS because they have professional social workers. They make sure that you are ok, and they have a personable quality to them that reaps integrated benefits. I left one star out because they change out case managers and discharge quickly.
1 helpful voteTry reporting a local homeless person in City told them the name address and everything they did not care they all they cared about was me leaving a message and intake there's no one there to actually take your concern or actually track your concern with and they act like they're helping but I really doubt it Left you messages still never got a phone call back or anything I think this business ororgan
4 helpful votesThe therapists are unprofessional and honestly do not seem to care enough about what I’m talking about. I have not received the therapy or services I was under the impression I would receive. It’s more of a friend chat then speaking to a professional therapist to give you tools or anything to help manage your mental health. Waste of time and expectations.
