When we went to visit our loved ones, we noticed our wreaths missing from three of our family members headstones. Keep in mind that it is publicly posted that the wreaths can be up until the middle of March. When we called, they said that the groundskeeper was throwing away dead wreaths. All of ours were artificial. We went to speak with the workers in person and they told us we had permission to look in the dumpster, but it wasn’t their problem and they wouldn’t be able to do anything about the wreaths they threw away. When we saw the dumpster, sure enough MANY more artificial wreaths were thrown away. I understand mistakes happen, but a little accountability for something that was completely their fault would have been nice. The decorations on our wreaths were broke when we found them. When a date is posted for wreaths to be put away, that date should be honored and the very good amount of money we put into decorating our loved one’s wreaths should be appreciated. Also frustrated for the people who will not get those wreaths back. Hoping this is better monitored and honored in the future.
