North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.

I went out to put flowers out for Memorial Day. I have many friends who are buried out there. I visit them to make sure they are remembered. It is quiet and peaceful out there, and it is located in a beautiful place. The NDVC offers full body, cremains and columbarium niches. They have many, many years of capacity and plans for additional columbaria once this first one is filled. Grounds are always immaculate and well kept. Please be mindful when placing flowers or other items by grave sites as mowing and maintenance may damage them. And, above all, do not be so somber when visiting. These are military veterans who saw some pretty awful stuff in their lives. Try celebrating them and being thankful such men and women lived and sacrificed for all of us. Information for burial at the NDVC can be found online on their web page. A very simple form and some documents from their military career is all that is usually needed. Keep in mind they do not do Saturday burials.
