Great home to be a Jew at Drexel. They also offer a great kosher dining program and theres always interactive events happening. Students here are particularly friendly here.
Great Hillel
Rabbi Isabel and the staff are truly out of this world amazing and really care about each and everyone of the students that attend. Also, the Hillel recently upgraded to a brand new modern and beautiful building with tons of more facilities for programming. super accepting of all jews and people in general. LGBTQA+ friendly too!!!!
Warm and welcoming atmosphere for all
The building has been completely redesigned. It is on the campus of Drexel. The Hillel has abundant activities and seeks to be a central oasis for Jewish students attending. Members vary in terms of observance and Jewish background. The staff tends to run oriented towards liberal "progressive" practice, but they make it a point to "respect" traditional norms of Jewish practice.
The Jewish community on Drexel campus is growing in strength and size every year. This building is a testament to that growth. The community is welcoming and inclusive, no matter what denomination you are. Weekly Shabbat dinners are both free, decent, and always in good company. It is a great staple of the Drexel Jewish student's life!
