For anyone seeking quality Biblical teaching within the historical context of the Jewish lens through which it was delivered and from which it originated, please check out Pastor Steven Ger's teachings. I became a disciple of Jesus when I was 3 years old (according to my mom’s age records), and I served in many ministries in the church growing up. I have read through my Bible from cover to cover more times than I can count, and I read it without skipping sections because that was how I was encouraged to read. I attended private Christian schools growing up and took many Bible courses as a result. I also attended Christian colleges and took more Bible courses there. During my New and Old Testament classes, one of my professors introduced me to Ray Vander Laan's "That the World May Know" series (visiting Israel and reading scripture at the location where the event occurred, within its historical context). Our professor also recommended purchasing David H. Stern's Complete Jewish Bible, as, from a Hermeneutics perspective, it would more likely include the proper descriptive words, syntax, and inflection of the text. My favorite aspect of The Complete Jewish Bible was reading the names of God within the scriptures. God's Name is a Verb - an Action Word!!! He uses His name to show us what actions He is taking and who He is within the context of His intervention. Pastor Steven Ger's teachings are taking this "discovering God" journey to the next level for me. His teaching is an excellent, high-quality source that both applies scripture in context and honors, points to, and worships Jesus Christ, aka Yeshua HaMaschiach, as the Answer to our salvation. Jesus is our Victor and our Victory. I am enjoying these teachings, and you might too. I feel lucky that God led me to this church so that I could learn/listen (Shema = Listen to God/Obey God) and take an inventory of what is true, honorable, and pleasing to the Lord in order to apply it to my life. If you are interested in growing in your faith and seeking God's Word in context for yourself, I hope to see you here. The worship is amazing - and the words to the songs we sing are textually correct. The teaching is insightful and nourishing. The people here love God, and they want to follow Him.

I joined a friend as a guest for a Saturday morning service and really enjoyed the overall atmosphere. The congregation was friendly and welcoming and the Pastor was very knowledgeable.

Shalom! My name is Dennis and I am Jewish descent, my wife Carol is Scottish and Korean (Gentile) we are both devout believers in Yeshua! For a long time we have been coming to the Throne of Elohim as humble servants in the blood of Yeshua, always with worship in glorifying his name El Shaddai! In our desire to draw close to him Yeshua has given us a new Heart and Soul full of loving kindness for the master as well as for our brothers and sisters in.God. We both feel that Yeshua is calling his bride to get ready for his return, and feel a new awakening has begun. We are looking for a community of believers who want to press-in, Love Adonai with all are Hearts, abides in him and above all do the Fathers will at all time. We have found that many Churches get bogged down with Traditions and protocol that they become satisfied, and stagnant. Because of the anointing of the Ruach on both of us we are not being fed the life giving sap from the root of the olive of Israel (the true Church of Yeshua is THE WAY) We pray constantly for God to order our steps and give us direction. We were forced to leave our church when they got a new Pastor that taught replacement theology. We have been looking ever since, I would like to try a messianic ministry, but my wife was hurt and rejected because of the lack of love and respect from the last messianic synagogue, we attended. If we are to be the one new man we must have loving kindness for all people, Jew or gentile. Please join me in prayer for my Wife that she can reconcile her feelings of hurt and unwanted from the last Jewish ministry and hopefully give it another try. I apologize for the length of this post! It's extremely hard to find a good Messianic Congregation. But Beth Sar Shalom DFW is - watch online or attend if you're near. Please ... the teaching is truly accurate.

I wanted to start worshiping on The Sabbath (4th Commandment), so I visited Beth Sar Shalom on May 18, 2019. The amazing Music reminded me of my trip to Israel back in June 2000. When Steven get up on stage, he looked so familiar...? Then once I heard his voice, I was so excited to realize that he was the one who lead me on my 8 day tour thru Sojourner Ministries! After the service I went to speak with him, and he remembered so many thing about me after 19 years...things that I had actually forgotten about! His wife told me he has a mind like a trap. I was so impressed with his teaching that I immediately knew this was to be my Forever Church.

I’ve attended Beth Sar Shalom since February, 2019 and look forward each week to the praise and worship there. The songs are beautiful and the teaching is solidly Biblical presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ in a Jewish context. So much to learn!! Come and see!! I am so glad I found this congregation of loving people.
