We absolutely adore Summer at Hockaday! For the past three years, we've chosen to send our four children there. With both girls and boys, ages ranging from 10 to 5, Summer at Hockaday offers a diverse range of classes and the highest-quality day camp experiences we've ever encountered. Our kids eagerly anticipate returning to camp at Hockaday each summer. They relish the opportunity to explore new interests, make new friends, and savor the cafeteria lunches – often the highlight of their week! I can't emphasize enough how meticulously crafted and thoughtful each camp program is. The faculty and staff are not only kind but also incredibly knowledgeable and communicative. Our family's love for Summer at Hockaday runs deep, and we'll undoubtedly continue this tradition every summer!

A Summer to Remember at The Hockaday School! My kids, 8 and 2 years old, had an absolute blast spending their summer at The Hockaday School. My son enjoyed everything from cooking and biking to anatomy, math, and soccer camps! My 2-year-old especially loved the amazing childcare—she was always excited to go back! The environment is clean, safe, and packed with fun, and we’re already looking forward to trying out more camps in the future. Thank you, Hockaday, for making this summer so special!

My daughter had a great time! I was worried she wouldn't be able to handle the long day but she had no problem. She was engaged the entire day and was still energetic when I picked her up. She already asked if she can do it again next summer. I only did one session this summer, but will likely do more next summer.

My son and daughter have attended Summer at Hockaday camp for multiple years, they have already asked if they can go back next year! There is a diverse range of classes that caters to both their interests- drone flying, chess, Bookclub, sports, American Girl, etc. The staff is fun and engaging and my kids especially love experiencing lunch in the cafeteria!

We did bike camp here and LOVED it! Such a great program for kids learning how to ride bikes.

We tried Summer at Hockaday for one week this past summer with our son (10) and daughter (7). It is by far the priciest camp we have ever done, and I figured it would probably be a one-time thing...I no longer think that lol. Our daughter just loved her camps - Super Sleuths and Magic Treehouse - but that was no surprise as she loves most camps. Our son, however, is a tougher customer. But go figure it ended up being his favorite camp week ever! He did the World Peace Game (which was extra special I think) and the Gamemaker camps and he came home every day full of joy and being the best version of himself. It worked so well that if he wasn't a boy I think I would have to seriously consider enrolling him for the regular school year. They also did an entrepreneur craft fair the last day (some of the camp kids selling things they had made in their camps) that our kids absolutely loved. For my part, I appreciated he mandatory cafeteria-provided lunch each day. It's a bit of a drive from where we live, but I am happy when they are happy and I expect we will be back next summer, for more than a week next time.

My kids had the best time at Summer at Hockaday! This is the best run camp we have attended in Dallas. We loved the programs and my kids were so excited to go back each day. My son did both the Kinder Prep and the Pokémon camp. He loved both. He was so excited about the reading program for kinder prep and it really helped him improve! My daughter did Kaleidoscope and had the best time. She loved her counselor, especially her Hockaday high school counselor. Her favorite day was splash day!

Hockaday has the best summer camp program for Pre-K (Kaleidoscope program). The staffs were so welcoming to my daughter in the morning, as well as during lessons and activities. The pickup process was perfect to make me feel safe knowing she was being watched over. Highly recommend this program to all parents who are looking for a summer camp for their kids. My daughter made so many friends & memories this summer. We are looking forward to next summer already at Hockaday Camp.

This was our first summer in Dallas and enrolled in numerous summer programs. Every school was great, but Summer at Hockaday was definitely the family favorite. As a parent, I loved it for a number of reasons. - It felt very organized. Parents received informational emails, car tags, etc... prior to the start of camp. - Drop off was easy, and we enrolled in after-care, which was a breeze for pick up. - I really appreciated the safety measures taken by the school for campus visitors. - We also had the best interactions with all the staff helping with camp. - Depending on camp, lunch and snacks were included or available to add-on. My 4 yr old enrolled in the Kaleidoscope Day Camps and came home with a smile on her face every day. They had tons of high quality crafts and projects based on the learning theme of that week. She came home with a wealth of knowledge and even taught me a few facts! My 6 yr old boy, took a number of camps including Explorations, a sports camp, cooking camp, brain games, etc... He came home showing off his very cool inventions/robots, fun cookbook, and a newfound obsession with playing chess. If you're considering Summer at Hockaday, I truly cannot recommend it enough!

My kids love Hockaday camp; it’s an amazing program and balances both fun and enriching/educational experiences. It’s by far the best camp in Dallas and they can’t wait to return! All the teachers are fantastic and love what they do and are really the best at what they do. Everything is run so organized and smoothly; they think of everything!

My kids LOVE Summer at Hockaday. They look forward to the summer and getting to return to the camp that they have such great memories at. The staff truly take time to invest into the children (which is totally not expected from a 2 week summer camp). It has been a great experience for the whole family. Also, I like not having to pack a million snacks and lunches and my kids love the cafeteria food. I found that my kids enjoyed being able to try new foods and also gained a sense of independence by being able to choose things for themselves.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Summer at Hockaday co-ed camp! I have sent my oldest there since he was old enough to go and he didn’t want to stop going. He jumped into my car with the biggest grin on his face and said wasn’t ready for the weekend! He was 4 turning 5 at the time and he told me he wanted to live at Hockaday Camp and never stop going. The joy and love that the teachers and volunteers showered him every single time he stepped out of my car was overwhelming and I could not think of a better place for him to spend his summer during the weeks absent from summer travels. He shared all the wonderful things he was learning and it was truly an enriching experience. We highly recommend and will be back every year we can be there!

The best summer day camp for kids in Dallas! My daughter loved the camp teachers, the crafts and the wonderful cafeteria food!

This is our summer plan each year. The class sizes are not overwhelming and the courses offered are fun and enriching. My daughter loves the biking, cooking, art, and American Girl Doll classes. I loved that I could mix in reading, math and prep classes. The fact that lunch is included makes it super easy to prepare for camp each day. My daughter always makes great friends there and has a great time!
