Rabbi Jacknin (and family) offer some of the best Jewish programing in Houston. The BJC environment is positive and upbeat. No pressure and no judgment; just bringing Jews closer to their Judaism with joy and love.

My kids are loving the Sunday Club and have just started The Chill Zone! The BJC is very inviting and have made us feel comfortable learning with them throughout the past three years. The ladies who currently and formerly run the Sunday Club have been fabulously imparting their generous spirits onto my kids and we are so grateful for their guidance in these hard times. Absolutely love the fun parties and events with so much young energy around all of the holidays! It’s a cozy and fun environment for all of us!

I've known Rabbi Gavriel for several years now. It never stops amazing me how much liveliness and joy he brings to his community and to Torah. He truly cares about helping others, giving to the Jewish community, and teaching Judaism and Torah.

Attended Wisky and Wisdom. Frendly group of people with good food and drink. Interesting to learn about Jewish History and Culture.

Bellaire Jewish Center has been such an important and positive part of our life since its inception. From all of the wonderful family activities and services to the great Monday Night Torah Class. Friendly, positive times for everyone. Just a happy experience. We are blessed to have BJC in our community.

The BJC center is truly one of a kind! Their warmth is like no other and allows everyone to be themselves. I feel as if it's my second home. Thank you to Rabbi and Rebbetzin Jacknin for all the amazing work you do for everyone!

A beautiful shul, with a wonderful, happy Rabbi. And he understands science, too. It's a miracle. Most of the people who attend also understand science.

Since day one of meeting Rabbi J almost 13 years ago, it was (has been and is still) a joy, a delight, electric and enlightening. It is of no surprise to me that the BJC legacy/vision exemplifies his infectious attributes of compassion, making learning fun, his patience and genuine concern for the community.
