We can't believe we just went here for the first time! We got the maghmour sandwich and the koshari bowl, both were devastatingly good, 10 out of 10 foods. Also, the owners are fantastic and were super informative. It was really easy to eat vegan there and there were a ton of options for us. Also, shout out to the baklava. We're definitely going to go there next week before they move locations and we're excited to find them in their new space!

I came here specifically for the Koshari bowl, and it was unlike anything I had eaten before. Unless you grew up with Egyptian food, you may not be familiar with Koshari. The combination may sound unusual, but the dish is remarkably satisfying. It is packed with different ingredients and textures, and somehow every single one retains its own identity. Nothing gets lost in the mixture. You notice the rice, pasta, lentils, chickpeas, sauce, and crispy onions individually, while still experiencing them as one complete dish. That is what makes Koshari so special. In many ingredient-heavy dishes, everything eventually blends into the same soft texture. Here, every bite is varied and interesting. The beans and lentils provide substantial, savory bites, while the other ingredients contribute softness, acidity, freshness, and crunch. The bowl contains no meat, but it does not feel like anything is missing. It is deeply filling and delivers the same sense of satisfaction I would normally associate with a hearty meat-based meal. Even if you are a committed meat lover, give this dish a chance. It may change your mind about what a meatless meal can be.

Had a lovley dinner with my mom here Saturday evening. Came from a long day out and about and was welcomed in to this comfortable famiky owned cafe with delicious food. Many vegan 🌿options and our host directed us through the menu and explained all options with ease. We also bought a couple of jars of carob molasses which is such a find and wonderful treat to take home! Qatar spices, olive oil, and Halwa available also. Along with a small section of spcialy products for skin care as well. Enjoyed our time. Lovley space for a casual dinner with a friend, solo dinner or a sweet little date. Thank you!! ✨️🙏🌌🧿🪷

I loved the nominal dish, the koshari bowl! The crispy onions on top were the best part. They offered gluten free pasta with it, which was lovely. I paired it with extra hummus and babaganoush, yummy.

They were offering free Koshari after Egypt won the FIFA game. I’ve never tried Koshari before. It was great and very filling !

After listening to Ayman and Amani’s story on The Gee & Ursula Show, Koshari has been on my radar to try since. I was able to find them outside 'The Armory', south entrance, Seattle Center. I ordered a large Koshari and felt as if I were eating a home-cooked hearty meal. I plan to eat here many more times as I make my way to Seattle for the World Cup. I only hope Mohamed Salah made his way down to try the amazing food!

Koshari is a restaurant that makes you feel at home regardless of where you’re joining from. We were warmly greeted by the owners upon arriving, and they helped us curate an incredible meal. We got their signature dish and baba ghannouj with the freshest fluffiest pita I’ve ever had. We also got karkadeh, which was so refreshing, as well as vegan baklava and rice pudding for dessert. All of the food was fresh with well balanced flavors and textures. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I’m so excited to return!

Great food, casual atmosphere, lovely owners/employees. Cant recommend it enough. The bowls are savory and filling, and the baklava is delicious! Nearly everything on the menu is vegan or can be made vegan (excluding the rice pudding).

If Google had given me option to reserve 5 star rating for only 1 restaurant in the world, this would be it. Best service, food and atmosphere one can ask for. Koshari - so good.
