Thrown out for the way I look. Prejudice. Violated my ada rights. Not even legal

The worst front desk experience of my life. I called ahead to ask when the open gym ends, and they said "maybe at 12, maybe at 2, just come here and find out". I still went there, for them to tell me they close at 12. They handed me a flyer and said "just check these hours next time". I read the flyer, which says their open gym closes at 10:55am. Outside of just plainly telling me the wrong time in multiple ways, they also did not let me in. They refused to look up my membership by phone number to check me in, and rudely said "go back home, and come back with your membership" They said "you can pay $5 to get a new membership if you lost your card". I agreed, seeing as that was my only option. They said "well, since you didn't actually lose it, we can't do that for you. You just have to bring your membership card next time, there's nothing else we can do".

Went there for a family hang and parked in the garage - headed out at 4:45 and the garage was close leaving me and my baby stranded. Still walking home because the car seat is in the car. The garage says it closes at 5 on a Saturday. Very disappointing.

Coach James and staff are pleasant. I like to go here to see members of the community working for the community.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 out of 5 I visited Yesler Park with my toddler and overall, we had a great experience! I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because the splash pad is a total win—perfect for hot summer days. My daughter had the best time running around, and there were other kiddos there which made it even more fun for her. The playground itself is definitely geared more toward older kids, maybe ages 5 and up. There are a couple smaller structures toddlers can explore, but I wouldn’t say it’s fully toddler-friendly. Still, the splash area definitely makes up for that! There are picnic tables and plenty of open space to sit and eat or relax. There’s also a community center right next to the park, though it was closed when we came by on a Sunday. The park has trash bins and bathrooms, and while most of it was pretty clean, there was a bit of litter near the play structures. That part was disappointing—it’s always sad when people don’t clean up after themselves. That said, the vibe was calm and quiet, and the location is super convenient—close to public transportation, including bus and train access. All in all, great spot for a casual family outing, especially if you have little ones who love water play!

Large space with indoor basketball area. Public washrooms and single occupancy shower/toilet options. Vending machines, filtered water fountain with water bottle filling options. Computer lab. Great park!! Splash park in the summer. Wonderful view of the city from atop Yesler way.

Great park, good people, very good customer service. Ask about their Drills and Skills basketball program. It is excellent!
