The cemetery was beautiful the last few years. Since March 26 it has seriously gone down hill. The headstones are crooked the grass is dead and completely brown. What has happened to this place ? I heard they got new contractors and it has shown. Cheyenne National Cemetery went from greenest place in Cheyenne to the brownest place in Cheyenne. I heard that new contractors and fort Logan blame it on drought and water restrictions. I can tell you that is not true the cemetery is on a well and there is no water restrictions out there. It is because the new contractors do not know what they are doing.
